The nonprofit Buffalo Niagara Nikola Tesla Council, Inc. is honored and pleased to provide your group with a dynamic, visual presentation about Nikola Tesla free of charge.

We currently are offering SEVEN distinct Visual Lectures concerning Nikola Tesla delivered by
Francis S Lestingi, PhD Professor Emeritus of Physics and History of Science, SUNY Buffalo State University and
BNNTC Education Director Paul Swisher.

Here is our newest offering:

"What Nikola Tesla Got Wrong…Einstein vs Tesla"
This visually-rich projection Lecture delves into one of the most fascinating
intellectual clashes of the 20th Century: the conflict between Nikola Tesla
and Albert Einstein over the nature of nature itself. We will show how
Einstein’s theories of relativity revolutionized our understanding of space,
time, matter, energy, and reality. In contrast, Tesla rejected relativity, clinging
to a deterministic, ether-based worldview even while pioneering alternating
current power systems, radio technology, and high-frequency electrical
innovations that electrified our modern civilization. By separating Tesla’s
genuine scientific and engineering brilliance from his philosophical and
physical misconceptions, we will offer a balanced reassessment of both men.
The result is a compelling exploration of genius, rivalry, and the dramatic
transformation of our infrastructure by Tesla and the reshaping of
civilization’s worldview by Einstein.

"The Electric Light Bulb. How the World Was Illuminated:
From Edison to Tesla to the LED"

In this dynamic, visually rich, digitally projected Lecture, we will trace the
fascinating history of humankind’s development and use of incandescence,
fluorescence, and our current employment of the new technology of Light
Emitting Diodes. Enjoy and learn from live demos (such as an authentic Tesla
Coil) that will explicate the science in an easy-to-understand fashion
.

"NIKOLA TESLA. Changed The World. Was Forgotten. Not Anymore."
In this pictorial Bio, learn about Tesla's boyhood, his education in Europe, his coming to America, his dealings with Edison and Westinghouse, and his transformational inventions in electricity that took place here in Western New York that eventually changed the entire global civilization.

"NIKOLA TESLA - Before and After"
What was the world like BEFORE Nikola Tesla was born in 1856? What did Nikola Tesla do here in Western New York that changed the entire global civilization?
How has the world acknowledged Nikola Tesla’s contributions to humanity AFTER his death in 1943?

"The Making of the NIKOLA TESLA LEGACY CORRIDOR"
Learn how a group of local private citizens created a Triptych Tribute of Appreciation to our fellow New Yorker, the brilliant inventor who changed the world, Nikola Tesla. Tesla's "spark" that illuminated the entire globe was ignited right here in Western New York. Discover what he did and how we are acknowledging it.

"EDISON. TESLA. The Myths. The Truth"

In this dynamic, visual presentation, learn about the two Americans whose inventive
contributions have affected the entire world. Discover how fictitious and hyperbolic mythologies have developed around Edison and Tesla with the advent of the Internet. Neither celebratory nor disparaging, learn the distinction between reality and contrivance, between the good, the bad, and the stunning.

"NIKOLA TESLA. The Eclectic Lecture"
No, we didn't spell ELECTRIC wrong. The Lecture is an in-depth, visually rich look at the manifold fascinating topics we couldn't cover in previous Lectures, such as: Why Tesla Never Married; Edison Patented, But Did Not Invent the Light Bulb; What Was the Buffalo 1901 PanAm Expo Like: AC Transmissions Before Niagara Falls; What Is a Watt? Who Electrocuted an Elephant with AC and Why; and much more.

"MARCONI. TESLA. The Wireless War.Who Invented 'Radio'"
What are the origins of the fantastic wireless world we live in today? This visually rich examination is revelatory, relevant, entertaining, and informative. Learn how the wireless world is but a part of the electromagnetic spectrum. See how Tesla and Marconi revealed the secrets of communicating without wires in their own separate ways. Discover how their initial efforts eventually led to broadcast radio. And delve into the little-known biography of Guglielmo Marconi.
